21st Birthday

Kim just had to have some of our cupcakes to help celebrate her daughters 21st birthday and who were we to say no!

Kim wanted purple icing, half topped with a number 21 and the rest with pink glimmer. We think they look pretty. And we love the new addition to our ribbon collection, yellow and very spring like.

Hope your daughter had a wonderful day Kim!

A Year Ago Today...

Kiri had tried some of Molly's Little Bakery cupcakes when she went on a birthday barge trip with some friends last month and loved them so much she wanted to order some for her 1st wedding anniversary.
As they were for her husband she wanted them to look manly but still romantic, so Kiri decided on black cases, toppers & wording and a vivid red icing. Along with a special message just for Rob.
We think they look great and the perfect way to let someone know you love them!
We wish you and Rob a very happy anniversary Kiri.

All Things Bright and Beautiful

Here at Molly's Little Bakery we love when we get the chance to experiment with some different colours. So when Kelly rang asking if we could make some brightly themed cupcakes to match her daughters 7th birthday theme we jumped at the chance.
Let us know what you think - bright or pastel. Which is best?
Kelly thought bright and we have to say I think it won us over this time too!
We hope your daughter had a wonderful birthday Kelly and we hope the cupcakes were a success.

Libbie is 2!

We were asked by Libbie's mum, Jackie, if we could make some cupcakes for her daughters second birthday and we were more than happy to help!
The spec was 'girly, girly, girly' so the mix of strawberry & chocolate cupcakes were topped with flowers, stars & hearts and of course pink icing.
Jackie told us the cupcakes went down a storm with both the birthday girl herself and her family.
We hope you had a very special day Libbie.

Wedding Bells

It has been a busy week for Molly's Little Bakery as we had a wedding to cater for!

Annette & Chris are getting married today and our cupcakes were recommended to them. The bride-to-be came round for a consultation and once she had seen both the flat & swirl icing that we offer, she decided to go for a mix of the two.

For decoration she wanted half with hearts and the rest with pink glimmer. It was a very pink affair in fact, as the icing was 2 different shades of pink and the cases were pink too!

The wedding is being held in Essex this afternoon and we would like to wish the happy couple a very special day.

Birthday Star!

These cupcakes were just a selection that we made for an 18th birthday. Sam contacted us after searching high and low in the Kent area for a cupcake company that were fairly priced and tasty, obviously we fitted the bill, and she wanted 100 for her daughters 18th birthday party tonight.

We were told she wanted them in a mix of pink & purple to match her colour scheme and a mix of number 18 and star toppers. Sam also hired our perspex stand to display the cupcakes on, so we can't wait to see what they looked like.

We hope your daughter has a wonderful party & make the most of every minute of being 18!

Only Smarties have the answer

Bindi is a huge Smarties fan, the biggest, according to her boyfriend Oscar so there was only one ingredient we could add to our cupcakes to help make her birthday even better.

We added Smarties to the sponge, the icing and as decoration so we think that should please her!
Wishing you a very happy Smartie filled birthday Bindi!

Cupcakes fit for a Princess!

Molly's Little Bakery were recommended to Becky, which is always nice to hear, and we were more than willing to help with her cupcake needs!
She was after some cupcakes for her daughter's 2nd birthday and they HAD to be pretty. Becky had shown us the designs she liked by flicking through our Facebook group photos, ones such as the flower icing (1st pic) which is now MLB's official signature style.
So armed with our piping bags and toppers we set to work on making some very girly cupcakes fit for a Princess.
We hope they were all enjoyed Becky & your daughter has a lovely birthday!

Cupcakes Go Large!

So what do you think to giant cupcakes. Love them? Hate them?

We thought we'd give them a go and see what our customers thought.

This one is a vanilla sponge with vanilla buttercream and topped with pretty handmade flowers. We should probably mention that that whole cake is sponge and the top half is covered with buttercream icing. If the entire top section was icing we think it would be sugar rush overkill!

So get in touch with us either via email, phone or leave a comment here and let us know your thoughts on giant cupcakes.

If they are a hit then we will add them to our menu!
