Cupcakes, Cupcakes, Cupcakes!

It's been another busy week in the MLB kitchen with various occasions to celebrate with a gift box of our cupcakes!

First up was this gorgeous lot which were for Lee's daughters 6th Birthday! Her lovely dad chose the fuschia pink icing and silver butterfly, star & heart toppers. We hope she had a fabulous day!

Next are these cupcakes for a very special 1st Birthday Boy! We were asked to provide cupcakes for Roux's Baptism last year so we were more than happy when his lovely Mum decided he just had to have some of our cupcakes at his party. Happy Birthday Roux!

These beauties were for Maz's In-Laws-to be who had been treated to a gift box of our cupcakes on Mothers Day and being the wonderful daughter-in-law-to-be she is she thought she'd bring a box with her this weekend. We just love the pretty spring colours and coordinating toppers

This order was from another regular, Eve, who wanted to send a box to her friend Laura in celebration of her Birthday.

And last, but by no means least, we have this gift box for, yep you guessed it Dan's 30th Birthday! His lovely girlfriend Rachel ordered them from us after trying our cupcakes at a friends party. We hope Dan enjoyed them and has a fabulous birthday.

Cupcakes From Scratch - New Date Added!

CUPCAKES FROM SCRATCH

Sunday 12th June 2011

10am - 3pm

£85 pp

Learn how to make vanilla cupcakes from scratch in the Molly's Little Bakery kitchen! We will teach you how to create edible toppers such as handmade roses, leaves, bows and you will have full access to our cutters and moulds

We will demonstrate how to achieve the perfect buttercream swirl, along with our very popular 'Rose' icing and 'two tone' icing

You can also top your cupcakes with rolled fondant, embossing techniques will also be taught during this workshop

We will be on hand to answer any questions you have related to baking - be it about sponge or where we purchase our cases

Go home with x 12 cupcakes to wow your friends & family!

All you need to bring is an apron, MLB will provide all the tools & equipment you require, along with a light lunch & refreshments

Space is limited as we prefer to keep the workshops to a maximum of 4 people, so we can ensure you get the best from the class

Our latest Cupcake Decorating Workshop

Yesterday saw another Cupcake Decorating Workshop at the MLB Headquarters and as always, we enjoyed it as much as the students!

We had yet more people travelling afar to take part, one lady came from Dover and another

from Canary Wharf. Just goes to show if you're prepared to travel you don't need to be local.

The ladies did a great job with their cupcakes and really got the hang of the icing techniques they were shown. We certainly had 4 happy students leave us, boxes underarm!
