Birthday Cupcakes

Emma contacted Molly's Little Bakery as she was after some cupcakes for her mum's birthday and we were more than happy to help.

At first Emma wanted some pastel coloured cupcakes but after flicking through our Facebook group album she decided on some brightly coloured numbers instead, along with a message for her mum. Don't they look summery!

We heard the cupcakes were a hit, we're so glad your mum enjoyed them Emma and we hope she had a fantastic day.

Naughty Forty!

It was Suzanne's birthday last week and she hit the big 40! She was after something a little different from the usual birthday cake so she contacted Molly's Little Bakery and we were glad to help.

She loves the colours red & purple so it's what we gave her! Along with heart sprinkles and the number 40 iced on to the remaining cupcakes.

We heard the cupcakes were a huge hit at her party so we're very glad we could help make it an even more memorable occasion.

We hope you had a wonderful birthday Suzanne!

Love Is In The Air

Molly's Little Bakery have spent the day in Bexley at our very first Wedding Fayre and what a great day it was!

On display we had a cupcake tower in a red & cream theme, which got lots of 'oohs' and 'ahhs' as did our cupcakes with 'Mr' & 'Mrs' iced on. But the biggest sounds of appreciation were once the cupcakes were sampled (free of course). Some of the comments were 'perfect icing, not sickly at all', 'the sponge is so light & moist' and 'I want more' ha ha!

We met so many lovely couples planning on tying the knot so Molly's Little Bakery wish everyone of you a very happy & special day!

Girls Weekend Away

Michelle & her friends were spending a weekend in the Norfolk Broads to celebrate a birthday. But they weren't doing the usual hotel & bar crawl thing. They were spending their time on a barge boat!

Not sure the combination of alcohol & boat driving is a good one but sounds like it will be tons of fun! And why not throw some of our lovely cupcakes into the mix for good measure. Michelle asked for bright pink icing and black toppers & cases. We think it's a striking combination and perfect for a girly weekend away.

Hope you had a wonderful weekend ladies & let's hope the boat is still in tact!

18th Birthday Cupcakes

We were thrilled when Vanessa asked us to whip up some cupcakes for her daughter Poppy's 18th birthday. Poppy wanted pink and cream with a mixture of flowers & number 18's on top.

Of course we obliged and were really quite pleased with the end result!

We were told that the cupcakes went down a treat and the birthday girl had a fabulous day!

Mother's Day 2010

Wow what a busy weekend it has been for Molly's Little Bakery! We have been spreading the word of cupcake love throughout London and Kent since Friday and have only just sat down.
It was so nice to see the look of surprise and delight when we delivered a gift box of delicious homemade cupcakes to their home or work place. What a way to let someone know you love them.
We don't have the room to put photos of all the orders on here but above is a selection for you to have a nose at.
We wish all the mummy's out there a very happy Mother's Day and a big thank you to all those who ordered cupcakes from Molly's Little Bakery.

The sun has got his hat on!

This week saw the return of that round yellow thing in the sky that is called a Sun! Yes we'd almost forgotten that it existed in the UK but boy did we celebrate it making an appearance!
It must have affected you lot as our inbox has been full and our phones off the hook with orders and enquiries.
One of the many we had was for Maeve's 1st birthday, last sunday. Her mum wanted pink & girlie so what better way than to top her yummy vanilla cupcakes with hearts, flowers and the number 1! We hope you had a fantastic day Maeve.
Today we had the pleasure of delivering some cupcakes to Nicolet's mum for her birthday. Nicolet's mum is American so she asked for some peanut butter cupcakes which we topped with our delicious chocolate buttercream. The rest were Lemon cupcakes topped with a zingy lemon buttercream icing. Using fresh lemons of course. Nicolet requested that the cupcakes were in pastel shades and very pretty. So we thought we would use some of our handmade flowers and butterflies. Perfect for when the sun is out.
If it's your birthday this week then we hope you have a smashing day!

George is 3!

Another of our weekend orders was for George, who was turning 3 years old! George's lovely mum Jo wanted some of our cupcakes and asked for a mix of colours with any kind of topper - we love orders like this!

So we set to work and created 24 delicious cupcakes, topped with handmade edible areoplanes & trains. Jo also hired our wire stand to show them off to their full potential, certainly a talking point for any party.

We heard the cupcakes were a hit with both the adults and children and we are so glad we helped make George's birthday a special one.
