Going To The Chapel

This weekend saw the wedding of Jean & Colin, a wonderful couple we had the pleasure of first meeting at the wedding fayre we did back in March. They loved our cupcakes so much they booked us for their nuptials which were held in the beautiful Danson House, Bexleyheath.

Jean & Colin had a wedding consultation with us, where we discussed what they wanted flavour & design wise and got to have a chat over a cuppa!

They decided on a mix of 3 designs, swirls topped with a handmade edible gold heart, wafer paper butterflies which looked striking against a cream swirl and then the remaining with Mr & Mrs written on.

They were also keen to cater for the children who would be attending the wedding, so we iced their names onto their very own cupcake and even provided individual cupcake boxes for the guests to take one home.

The venue was just stunning and once we'd set up the sun decided to make an appearance, so we do hope that you both had a magical day and thank you for letting us be a part of it.

Wedding Cupcake Towers

We thought we should let you know that here at Molly's Little Bakery, we don't add unnecessary zero's onto the end of our wedding quotes. We believe that weddings are expensive enough without paying a fortune for the cake.

So when you contact us for a personalised quote, we will charge the same as cupcakes for a birthday. We offer cake stands for hire, along with delivery & set up and depending on your topper these are additional costs but Molly's Little Bakery still offer a very competitive price.

For example x 100 cupcakes with sprinkles, a 7 tier cake stand & set up (delivery is dependent on area) would cost under £200.

Wedding Bells

It has been a busy week for Molly's Little Bakery as we had a wedding to cater for!

Annette & Chris are getting married today and our cupcakes were recommended to them. The bride-to-be came round for a consultation and once she had seen both the flat & swirl icing that we offer, she decided to go for a mix of the two.

For decoration she wanted half with hearts and the rest with pink glimmer. It was a very pink affair in fact, as the icing was 2 different shades of pink and the cases were pink too!

The wedding is being held in Essex this afternoon and we would like to wish the happy couple a very special day.

Love Is In The Air

Molly's Little Bakery have spent the day in Bexley at our very first Wedding Fayre and what a great day it was!

On display we had a cupcake tower in a red & cream theme, which got lots of 'oohs' and 'ahhs' as did our cupcakes with 'Mr' & 'Mrs' iced on. But the biggest sounds of appreciation were once the cupcakes were sampled (free of course). Some of the comments were 'perfect icing, not sickly at all', 'the sponge is so light & moist' and 'I want more' ha ha!

We met so many lovely couples planning on tying the knot so Molly's Little Bakery wish everyone of you a very happy & special day!
